It has a horrible strong chemical smell.

I suspect this electric hot water bottle may be alright, if it were not for the incredibly powerful chemical smell it has. We left it out of the packing for a few days in an attempt to reduce some of the dreadful smell, but it is still very bad and would be horrible if contained in the confined space of a bed!!! This product could certainly not be recommended for anyone who may be sensitive to chemical odours.
