Great after a minor repair.

The kbd arrived and I stuck in 3 brand new batteries and... nothing. After much thought I got out a flashlight and peered down the battery hole to see a tiny, ultrathin, piece of paper, or perhaps plastic, like a grocery bag. on the contact. A chop stick proved it was movable but either it was sticky or static meant it wasn't coming out trivially. After about 30 mins with a chopstick, I finally got it to move out of the way and inserted the batteries. Works. I was satisfied enough to buy a 2nd one a couple days later.
