Replaced the old radio well and added new functions
The unit plays CD's OK, but didn't when first received. I had to insert the music CD. then immediately run the forward and reverse track scan/seek button up and down a few times, insert and re-insert the cd a few times, now works fine. Otherwise it would recognize that a CD had been inserted, then immediately flip back over to the radio without playing the CD.
The auxiliary function works pretty well with my old Samsung S5, but the volume is much lower than the radio or CD, so have to remember to turn the volume significantly down before unplugging the phone. I also have to change the balance to significantly more right sided for the phone or it sounds weird. But, considering that this an added on function to an older radio, I'll take it. The unit looks "right" as in factory in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I also appreciate that this radio displays the station call letters, and music tract titles if a station makes that available whereas the old radio I replaced it with didn't have that function.
