Replaced all lamps with the new style and adjusted the line voltage to 12 volts at the inverter and very pleased with the results. I have 9 pathway lamps and three flood or spot lamps and its app 125 foot run and was not getting enough voltage at the end of the system to burn the original indecent very bright at all so I increased the line voltage to 15 volts so as to compensate for the voltage drop and it worked except now I kept burning out bulbs which were the 1st in line from the power supply. With the new bulbs all are nice and bright with reduced line voltage. I will order another set just for spares.
