Exact Match to the Original Part
Exact Replacement Part that matched the original part. While Samsung does not make their products easy to disassemble, when I was able to get to the old heating element, the new part was very easy to install. After the initial "burn in" my dryer is working better than before the old element burned out.
Couple of Comments:
1) eBay had the best price on the web
2) If you have a long dryer vent line (from the dryer to outside the house), Buy a Dryer Vent cleaner brush with the flexible extensions and clean out the vent line. My dryer vent line runs at least 30 feet from the utility room in the center of the first floor, over the garage, and out the side of the house. Over the 26 years that I have owned my house, I would once every 2-3 years use my leaf blower to blow out the line. I would get some lint to blow through and I thought I was doing O.K.. Using a 40 foot lint kit, scrubbing back and forth from the inside and outside, several times, and in between each scrub, I used my leaf blower. I was surprised to get cumulative basketball and a half size ball of lint out the line.
