Pretty neat system
1 of 1 found this helpful This system is a pretty good portable Mega Drive. Smaller and lighter than expected with surprisingly ergonomic. The plastic feels cheap but the buttons are good to press. Sound is pretty close to the original Sega Genesis.
NOTE:
This system is region locked to Japan. This means you will ONLY be able to play either early Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games or games released in Japan.

One step forward two steps back.
This console plays does a mostly ok job at playing the various I have tested. It has a fairly cheap build quality but for being able to play games for multiple systems you won't get much better options for the price. The HDMI output is a nice addition. However compared to the previous version of this product it loses some compatibility.
Light Gun Games(Ex. Duck Hunt)
Even when using composite output on a CRT television the light gun games don't work. These games worked on the previous version of this hardware.
I also tried the Star Wars NES game on this product and it would not play. Just a blank screen. However this game works on the previous version of the console.
P.S.
By "previous version" of the console I mean the non-Plus/non-HDMI version.
