Practical advice for teachers in the classroom!
Excellent practical advice for teachers in the classroom, based on decades of successful teaching. The author sometimes gets a little sentimental with some of the great teachers he has known or worked with, but gives his reasons why they influenced him or his students. If you are starting out or going into the classroom, this would be an excellent guide to prepare your mindset. I found some of the tips helpful for classes I will be teaching at a local community college. Thank you, Paul Swisher, for your dedication to the profession, your example, and for sharing your ideas.
