Good value, excellent fit. A far better option the the Thule alternative.
2 of 2 found this helpful It's the official MINI factory rack so you know it's going to fit. They're very easy to install and it takes just a couple of minutes to install and remove. This base rail set is almost 1/3 the cost of the comparable Thule Aeroblade option for this car. Just one Aeroblade Edge bar costs the same as the complete MINI factory base rails and you'd still have to buy the second Aeroblade Edge cross bar and the Thule "fit kit"! My concern at first was that the thickness of the base rails would generate a lot of wind noise, but they don't. I can't tell the difference in wind noise whether these racks are on or off the car. They also come complete with everything you need, including a torque wrench for tightening the clamp bolts to your Countryman's rails. There's no good reason to buy another brand of racks for this car unless you already had them from another vehicle. It's the best option for your Countryman.
