Rough, but it gets the job done
All of the edges could use some deburring, especially the pocket clip. It's removable, so taking the sharp edges off won't take much.
That's really my only complaint. Every edge is very sharp. Mostly the clip and the front near the lens.
Range is good, brightness is good, it runs on a single AA.

Buy it!
Beautiful pen. Very nice writer, though it seems a little dry so far. It could just be that the feed doesn't like the ink I'm using. Either way, it has not been a problem with normal writing/drawing. In my experience, the feed cannot keep up with very fast writing though. This is based on using Noodler's Heart of Darkness in it.
The nib has a lot of flex for it's size. You can get some decent line variation out of this without much effort.
Overall, I'd definitely say buy it.
