Fender Hardshell Deluxe Black Tweed Strat / Tele Guitar Case G&G 0996101406

Attractive case does the job!

I had been looking for a "different" case for my new black fender strat. Normal hardshell cases for a strat are around $100. For half that price again; I was able to get a hard case that none of my friends have seen before. As we played our first rehearsal.. I often caught one or two other members glancing at the new case sitting next to the speakers. I have a little trouble with the right latch closing. It just doesn't want to "lock" into place. I've really got to put some pressure on it to get it to lock. I'm hoping that it will go away as the latch gets "worked". I'm also going to place a couple drops of oil in the latch area to see if that helps. Also, the inside of the case (under the soft lining) feels almost like a light Styrofoam. I can push on certain areas of the inside of the case and feel the material under the lining "crumple" slightly. I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING THIS; but I just noticed it when feeling around. Otherwise, I love it. A huge compartment (with a button-snap lock) for accessories keeps things looking clean inside. I love it; and would definitely recommend it to a friend. I wish I could give it four and a half stars.
