Like Steroids 4 My C4 Corvette
Upon losing fuel pressure at fuel throttle multiple times, I decided to change the fuel pump. According to another '84 Corvette member, this fuel pump solved his issues. At the affordable price I figured it was worth a try.
Pump arrived in great shape and was packaged well. However, it was in no way a direct fit. Never fear! You can easily make this work and SHOULD make this work for the longevity of your vehicle.
Upon disassembly of my fuel pump assembly, I noticed that the older style used terminals that screwed to the pump. You cannot install the old wiring on a C4 to this without using a butt splice. In fact, I recommend it. Given the type of unit the older Corvettes use, this is perfectly acceptable and works VERY well. Just make sure to splice to the supplied plug. Then, install the pump and plug it in. The screen didn't look like the one in the picture but was a much more modern "fuel mat" type. These are significantly better. If they are even touching fuel, they wick it up. It was a nice upgrade compared to an old style fuel sock. Install it AFTER you put your fuel pump in the frame... otherwise you'll have a very hard time installing the pump.
Overall, I gave this a 5 star rating because of the more modern surprises compared to even the picture. It was just what I needed and the Vette has never run better. I'd highly recommend it!

Tighten up that steering for only 15 bucks and 30 minutes of labor!
Do the steering in your Z32 feel loose even though you changed your tie rods? A common problem is often the rack bushings. While the stock bushings are good, the poly bushings that Energy Suspension produces are absolutely sublime. The increase the road feel by a small amount while eliminating play. Do NOT grease the bushings while installing. You're simply going to use clamping force to hold these in. If for some reason you cannot take the rack completely out, good news... these are split to make them easier to install on a car without the rack removed. For someone trying to get their car to feel new again, I'd highly recommend. And, at the price, you really can't beat it. WOULD BUY AGAIN AND HAVE FOR MULTIPLE Z CARS.

Near OEM Quality at Used Prices!!!
Near OEM quality at a used price. The box arrived in excellent condition with no damage. When I unwrapped it, a few tabs on the fender did need to be bent to fit the fender perfectly to the pickup. When bolted on, the fitment was oem quality. Because I've handled a great many OEM parts, I know where places skimp on quality in the aftermarket. Everything was perfect here. I can't recommend the fender enough. It was just what I needed.
