Good concept. Broke too quickly.
Apparently the newer models have a much more durable filter and carafes that work without leaking out of the bottom. The unit I purchased was an older version that had these issues. When I called the manufacturer, they were able to replace this model with a newer model that supposedly fixes the issues I encountered.
