get what you pay for
unless you read german good luck with the manual / directions. seems to have gone thru couple google translations to get to english. helps if you have a good mechanical sense. I spent an hour trying to get it started out of the box ... before you go thru the pain of trying to get the spark plug out to test for spark go right to my last step which was to buy starting fluid from the auto-parts store and spray it into the carb in-take (remove the air filter). that's what got it going. started up and ran just fine once it got warmed up. Got what I paid for. American made are more than 2 to 3 times ( 400 to 600 bucks ) what this cost I would not recommend this for professional lawn care work but I suspect it will last just fine at the frequency I intend to use it around my yard.
