Direct replacement
Perfect, includes connector, light bulb, just bolt in and replace cracked ones.

Steps 2 and 3 in migrating to Garmin ecosystem.
Still learning it. The interface has to be learned, not exactly intuitive. Finally got speed sensor connected. Still trying to figure out how the HRM dual band works with it. I can tell I'm going to love the navigation. I feel like I could do all this with my huge phone but this does what's needed better and in a much smaller package, (doesn't look like a Kindle mounted on my handlebars). Instead of a big mount holding my big phone it's a nice clean fork stem spacer mount, just looks and works great.

Not that they're perfect but Garmin seems to top ask the others
For the last 6 yrs maybe? I started out with the Fitbit Versa, loved it, bought the Versa 3 later. All my other devices are Samsung. Decided to try the Galaxy watch 3 loved it, then I got GW4, then I'm wearing the Versa 3 and GW4, (left and right). Heard a lot about Garmin and didn't like some of the Fitbit changes so now I'm wearing Garmin and GW4. Dropping Fitbit. If I go down to just one I'll be keeping there Garmin and I've since bought other Garmin devices, biking stuff. Battery life, fitness metrics, I can see the screen in the sunlight! Easily! The Fenix 6x solar just seems like a more complete watch than any of the others. I'll have the Fenix 7x solar before too long I'm sure.
