A once in a lifetime treat
One of the best books I have ever read, a tour de force of Western civilization from its roots in ancient Greek civilization right up to the modern era. It is both a history and a story of philosophy. And it is written in the most understandable and engaging style. I find myself enjoying it so much that I reward myself by savoring it in small sections so as to prolong the enjoyment. Wish I had discovered it years ago so that I could be reading it again today. It's that good.

Great tool
Beautiful beast of a gardening knife. Stainless blade that is sharp on one edge and serrated on the other, makes cutting through thick vines rather easy. The blade is long and strong enough to be excellent at weeding in my raised beds, and I appreciated the excellent quality of the tool enough to get a bottle of tung oil and treat the wooden handle. This is not really necessary but the knife is so lovely that I want it to look its very best also. Great buy!
