Better than FIVE STARS. Top Notch
I expected some really cheesy POS from Communist China.
I was very surprised at the easy installation, room for connections, boot to cover wires and RTV encapsulated circuit board. Thermal sensor is excellent quality, Display is clear and concise as well as accurate to a fault. Everything about this device is top quality, a natural fit for a salt water sailboat.
One of the best devices I have purchased in a long while.
After researching the manufacturer I discovered this product line originated in the USA..Not sure where it is made but appears to be an American Company.
I would recommend over and over to anyone looking for a great value.

Great Product but Serious complications.
I purchased this knowing is is preowned and most likely salvage. I also know they cut the cord to keep buyers from trying to utilize warranties on it, or because they were in a hurry before they crushed the boat.
However the person who cut the cord cut it too short to enable it to be re terminated with the correct plug for the network. It was 1/2 inch too short.
It took me over 4 hours to do a remedy to make it operational. Not worth the effort as my time cost money too.
Next time you salvage one of these leave a minimum of 6" of cable exposed for reconnecting. A foot would be even better.
