Not Happy
I had an older model - V1085 that worked well for years and years but finally began losing suction power this year so I replaced it with this model. However, that two times I've used it have not been good. The first time I had to play around with the bag to get it to vacuum. The second time it wouldn't work the vacuum at all. Not sure what I'm going to do, but will definitely do more research before finding another one.

Book Of A Thousand Days
I've read several Shannon Hale books, but I think, so far, this is my favorite. It was a reading assignment from the Book Club I'm in. It's a fairly quick read written like a journal. I found some of the traditions of the Asian steppes seem to carry across to our North American natives. This is a great youth book.

The Loved To Laugh
This story takes place in early U.S. times. A young girl is orphaned due to plague that sweeps through her family. The doctor attending takes the girl to his Quaker home. She comes to love the family for all it's family traditions and ways, to the point of not wanting to join her mother's sister's family. A quick, easy read for young people.
