Gorgeous sword!
Superb! Absolutely stunning embellishments. Well worth the cost, as are the matching daggers.

Cheap looking but good steel!
2 of 2 found this helpful The wood handles and sheath look cheap, but the stainless steel is much better (3CR13) than the usual 420 stainless. Takes an edge quite quickly and retains it acceptably.
The cheapness of the knife and sheath can be greatly diminished by wrapping the wood handles with a tape designed for handles. I used a silicon self-sticking tape that increased the height of the handle nicely, made it absolutely "no slip", and, to my eye, better looking. I used shoe polish on the sheath which, when buffed, gave it a nice, almost weathered, look.
