Same product as branded network enclosure. Non-branded and you assemble. Excellent.
1 of 1 found this helpful TL;DR... buy this instead of branded server enclosures. Same product, same quality, less expensive.
The majority of server enclosures you find look exactly the same. A company will purchase enclosures in bulk from a manufacturer, assemble it, apply a branded label to it, and ship to you. This DavidLegend wall mount flat pack server enclosure is exactly the same product, except you assemble it and there is no branding applied. A few notes:
1) The picture shows a "Sframe" brand label on the tempered glass door but the door I received is not branded, which is fantastic! I don't care for the "in your face" branding applied to equipment, like you find with Tripp-Lite.
2) There are picture instructions, much like IKEA instructions. You will think that all pieces are identical but there are a few notes. Remember that the fans go on top. Also remember that the side frames do have a front and back. I believe the back is indicated by two circles that can be used for wall mounting.
3) The enclosure comes with 10 M6 screws and cage nuts that you can use to mount your equipment.
4) There is only 1 lock that can be used for the front or either of the side panels. If you want to lock everything for some reason then you would need to buy additional locking mechanisms from somewhere. Looks like pretty standard hardware. I don't really need it to be locked at all personally.
