Amp is good but the director is not.

Installation of the amplifier was easy and even without tuning it sounds terrific. I would recommend NOT buying the DIRECTOR. Mine didn't work out of the box, powered up, complained about backlevel firmware. Tried updating firmware with 2 different computers, 2 different versions with no success. I get a black screen which according to the poor documentation says it's in update mode but after waiting almost 10 minutes per try, it always fails. I must have tried this 20 times. Searching the internet finds I am not the only one having issues.
