Be ready to work
1 of 1 found this helpful I haven't had a chance to see it in action yet because I'm still trying to get it wired up.
Out of the box it didn't fit my trim package (F150 Custom) so I needed to make a lot of modifications so it would sit flush with the dash console. Because it's digital you have to replace the existing gauge wires with new ones (supplied). The original dash connection used a wiring harness and this unit just has all the wires coming out of the back loose. I wish they would have included a schematic of the original truck connector so I knew which wire controlled what. It's just a lot of splicing wires once I figure out which is which.
I'm new to restorations so it was a bit more work than I had imagined.

Good Deal
This grate is as described and is working well. The cast iron is a little light weight (made in China) but so far is holding up well. Overall a good deal for the low price.
