Cheaply made, but works!
Although made cheaply, it does work. While pushing on the tone knob it separated the two sections of the pot so now it does not turn as smooth as it originally did and moves around. I just left it in place, since I had already put the pickguard back on. At least it does give some good tone variations on my Tele.

Nice guitar!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a solid guitar for the price. I really like the belly cut, which is hard to find in the Tele unless you want to pay almost 2 grand for a Fender Elite tele. For mid $200s (with the new tuners, see below) it is a decent guitar. It is hard to be critical of a guitar in this price range, but I will be honest as I see it.
Neck - Has a very nice feel, not too thin and has a nice grain. The frets are not too sharp, no high ones that I could tell. The nut needed a little work, but not too bad.
Tuners - Absolute junk and would not stay in tune for more than a couple songs. I threw them away and replaced them with AllParts locking tuners (on ebay) which work perfect. They looked like some sort of generic (had youth printed on the back). They were slightly crooked and the screw holes were stripped, but that is typical for a guitar in this price range. I have several.
Pickups - They sound good to me. My other Tele has wide range pickups; so although I expected more twang with these, I probably will not replace them. No hum that I could tell. Single coil? I could not find much on the z-Mules to know for sure.
Electronics - I could not tell the brand, but they feel solid, switch works good and the knobs turn smooth.
Finish - Not bad. Mine was marked demo, so the few nicks and scratches I found are typical for a demo. It has few flaws under the clear coat and looks to have what appear to be light brush marks in it. It appears to be brushed on, not sprayed.
Setup - A beginner would be happy with it. I did adjust the truss rod to add relief, lowered the action, adjusted the pickups and re-intonate.
Overall a nice guitar for the $200 + paid after the tuners were replaced.

Indoor camera good, outdoor camera junk!
The indoor camera is pretty good. The outdoor cameras are absolute junk! They keep loosing the signal even if the base is within 2 feet. I do not expect the batteries to last long and they do not recommend rechargible. There is no option in the app to turn on night vision like you do with the indoor camera. At night you only see a dark screen on an outdoor camera, so what's the point? What was Samsung thinking? Night vision on an indoor camera, but not on the outdoor camera? When you pop off the cover to install the screws (I did it carefully), they do not want to snap back in place since it is made of cheap plastic. I had to wrap duct tape around it to keep them in place until I find replacement cameras. They will go in the trash.
