They work fine
Decided to replace my 2012 scion tc with these just because how affordable these are compared to the oem. The build quality is good and a. The only reason I gave them a 3 out of 5 is because removing the lock clips were more annoying to slide up and stay in place. The oem on my car were old but removing the pins were much simpler.
Also after installing both supports it made my hatchback lift way to fast with too much power where I felt like it would break my glass over time. I decided to only use one out of the two and keep one of the original oem just because the gas on the oem slows down the lift before it reaches its max height when opening.
But overall I like these and wish they did not lift my hatchback so fast and not being able to slow down so it doesnt put alot of pressure on it.
