If I could give this zero stars I would
I bought this thinking that the only difference from the actual apple product and this one was the price and the fact that this one was so much longer than the regular one. It turns out not only does this version not charge my iPod classic well it also does not allow for my computer to recognize my iPod. At first I thought it was my iPod I reset it like 15 times before going to the Apple Store. The Apple Store said that there was nothing wrong with my iPod and asked me if I wanted to completely restore it (meaning clear all of my songs off of my iPod mind you this is over 3000 songs). Though I was hesitant I allowed them to do so and once I got home I just ended up using my spare Apple USB that I got from another eBay seller some months ago and my iPod began to charge and was recognized by my computer. My songs began to re download and everything worked fine. All along it was this awful Apple USB cord. I won't say not to buy it but this product was all wrong for me. Try at your own risk.
