Good enough
A couple of small changes to make work, drill small hole for ground wire tab. OEM rubber gasket will not fit new unit, take brass brass/washers out of gasket,turn them around for 5 mounting bolts.

Mount shovehead generator on panhead
This generator has 5/16 mounting bolts for shovels, pans and Knick’s have 1/4 bolts. Not for the purist but I drilled out cam cover and case to 5/16. I got shovel head mounting bolts. They are a 24 thread not 20 course not a 28 fine thread. Since I have had my Panhead for over 50 years and ride often I took the any port in a storm solution.
