If you're going to game on SNES start here.
If you're reading a review for Final Fantasy 2 for the SNES, then odds are good you're Gen X like me. This is the stuff we grew up with, and the story today is just as fun and engaging to play through as it was nearly 30 years ago. And the colours draw you in like you're 12 all over again.
It's so much more enjoyable to have the legit cartridge to play on. Something like that just adds a touch of nostalgia that is hard to match with an emulator on your PC or something else.
I give this game 5 stars because it's not only a great piece of history, but because it's simple and straightforward story feels elegant and timeless. It's easily a top-5 best ever game for the SNES.
