Bright

I bought 2 of these little guys just to keep around for power outages or emergencies. Wow do they give off light! Don't look directly at them when you turn them on. I have used one of them for walking the dog after dark for about 2 weeks and it is just as bright now as it was the first night. The magnet is strong enough to hold the light in any position. I am very pleased with them so far.

Not for Linux

If you want to use this with Linux -STAY AWAY. I tried to contact the seller twice with no luck. It may work fine with windows ( I don't know )but not Linux.

Can't use the item

I have been unable to use the doorbell because I can't find a battery for it. The transmitter takes a very unusual 12v battery that I have been unable to find. The item is useless to me.
