Ideal for honing a cooks knife.
To properly use a good kitchen knife it has to be sharpened first.
This involves a good mechanical sharpening tool like a grinder.
After the sharpening process, it should be honed to give the best cutting blade.
This product is perfect for good honing, but the title of sharpening device may be misleading to some buyers. When you see TV chefs rubbing knifes over a stick, they are actually giving it the final cutting edge before use. If your knife is blunt before use, then this machine will not make it much sharper. I have used this item for some time now and always gives the perfect edge for cutting vegetables and steaks. Its a great product for putting the final edge on a cooks knife.

Good value.
Bought as replacement for three old smoke alarms. Easy to fit and very loud alarm.
Would recommend for any small to medium size dwelling.

Our first Car seat purchase.
We are grandparents and bought this to accommodate our increasing number of young grandchildren in our Lexus LS430. The car is ten years old, but has the required isofix fittings.
The item arrived late this afternoon so we have not fitted it to the car as yet.
As expected, the item was manufactured outside the EU, and arrived in good condition although the packaging was a bit flimsy, but adequate. The instructions are minimal and need to be read a few times to follow them, as the grammar and spelling are not straightforward. We tried all the settings and adjustments on the kitchen table and everything seemed to work and move as required. There is a good video on YouTube which explains everything, but even there, the young man seems to struggle a bit with some of the levers. If you are elderly and have any problems with hands and wrist movements, then this is not the product for you. The catches and levers are tight and stiff and require a good force to move them....that's ok if you are young and strong.
