Between Parent and Child

This is a book I read in the 1960's but wanted my daughter to have a copy so she would know what guided me in parenting her. I think there is great wisdom in Dr. Ginot's words. Our family had first-hand experience with Dr. Ginot, as he founded the North Shore Child Guidance Center in Long Island, NY and a family member (child) attended the Center. I recommend this to every parent because Dr. Ginot's philosophy is to treat a child with dignity and respect, a no-nonesense approach, but dealt out with kindness.
