Awesome!
Takes a few days for the media to work but once it gradually moves its an awesome piece of kit. Very good quality filter. Only downside is it will increase nitrates abit due to not being able to colonise anaerobic bacteria. However, very good at colonising aerobic bacteria and processing ammonia and nitrite. Worth every penny in my opinion and can even swap out for different media. It dosent have to be a moving bed filter. I'm using as a purigen reactor. *****

Very bad!
Check valves are supposed to stop any water backing up into the airpump. These don't! Pieces of plastic made to look like a check valve but don't do what it's supposed to.
