A nice rack but the attachment mechanism could be improved.
This product did not fit my Passat as I had hoped it would. There are side channels on the roof of this car and I had hoped the rack would have pads that fit into these channels but they did not. I tried to adjust the clamp and the ratchet did not work, it just moved in and out. I then turned the strap over and I could tighten it but not loosen it. I decided even though I liked the price, the rack just wasn't what I had hoped for and returned it. The good news is that I received a full refund with no charges so I felt good about it and just regret that the fit wasn't quite what I'd hoped for.
