Compelling plot; not a chick flick
So many great actors, playing their roles to perfection. A compelling adaptation of Frederick Forsyth's novel. Blu-Ray gives me the highest resolution for my TV. Also, great music by Carter Burwell, who curiously doesn't acknowledge it on his website, perhaps because of the movie producer's remix of the score. Still...

A little tricky
4 of 4 found this helpful Once I installed the battery and tried it, I had a hard time getting the right temperature; mine seemed too low. So, I read the instructions and removed the protective plastic cover over the sensor. Duh. My temperature still was half a degree low. The device emits beeps that increase in frequency as it finds higher surface temperatures to measure, so it's the absence of beeps that signify you're swiping across the right area. Turns out the temporal artery is higher up on my forehead than I thought. It's a good idea to get repeat readings with it. It also works via the femoral artery, inner thigh. I got the Exergen because my fairly new crappy LCD digital thermometer stopped working. Learning to use the Exergen left me uncertain so I purchased a new LCD digital thermometer as well, as backup. Oddly, I was much better taking my wife's temperature with the Exergen than my own. I like the fact you don't have to insert it into any body cavities and that it's quick.

Be careful which HDMI port you plug in?
I first connected the HDMI with an HDMI input on my LG Ultra High def OLED TV. Tried playing a Blu-Ray DVD. Lots of problems; white outs, no program. I switched to another HDMI port and everything was fine.
