Top-notch!
These magnets are INCREDIBLY strong for their size, which is very uniform between individual magnets in both diameter and thickness. This makes them perfect for applications where they will be tightly fitted into drilled/bored holes or pockets, such as magnetic door latches.
They also have smooth, burr-free surfaces and edges, with good quality nickel plating. As such, they typically won't scratch most metal surfaces the way a bare, uncoated ceramic magnet can.
Again, do note that these little guys are far, far stronger than a typical ceramic magnet. While I'm not an expert on this, I'd guess you can downsize by around 50% (maybe more!) when going from ceramic to neodymium. I use small magnets such as these in some of the crafts I make, and to me there's simply no comparison; neodymium magnets are well worth the extra expense, hands down.

Great product, incredible price!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to replace the stock 220W PSU in a friend's old HP Pavilion Slimline, when the motherboard died. Any CPU and board worth having requires far more than 220W, and I was very pleased to find this difficult-to-find item at an incredibly low price.
It's somewhat louder than the stock PSU, but that's understandable as it has nearly twice the current output and therefore requires more airflow for cooling. Besides, an 80mm fan naturally won't/can't be nearly as quiet as a good full-size ATX supply's 140mm fan. Nevertheless, it does have dual ball bearings instead of a sleeve bearing; a nice plus.
Connectivity and specs are accurate as per the item description, and are adequate for anything you'd build within the confines of a slimline case's limited size, airflow, cooling potential, and intended use.
Overall, this is a great bargain on what appears to be a decent quality item, with free shipping on top of that! You can't go wrong here, especially if you're looking for a drop-in replacement for a failed OEM power supply.

It's Starrett, right? "Nuff said.
I've been a manual machinist since about 1997 (including 5 years in tool and die), and I've used every major brand of all the common machinist's tools and measuring instruments. All have their hits and misses, with only Starrett being 100% consistent in providing a premium quality product across the board, every time. This 440Z-RL depth mic is no exception. It replaced my fine old U.S.-made Brown & Sharpe and is its equal in every respect, just different.
It feels very solid in the hand, and I've especially always liked the concave finger-hold curves in Starrett's depth mic bases, which makes it very easy to hold down firmly when measuring things like small keyways. The thimble's turn action is liquid, silky-smooth and lightly damped, the ratchet stop feels crisp and precise, the rods are quick and easy to change, the fit and finish are superb, and the sleeve and thimble graduations are crisply and cleanly etched and easy to read by my old worn-out eyes. Accuracy is dead spot-on from 0" to 6".
The case is very well made and features a strong piano hinge and metal rims, with Starrett's typical closed-cell foam fitted inserts that cradle, cushion and support everything well when the case is closed, thus preventing things from rattling around. The lid is soft and lightly padded, and closes firmly with a light, spring-action snap. A high quality case to match a high quality instrument.
It's everything one could possibly ask for in a depth mic. Perfection.
PROS: Everything
CONS: None whatsoever
