This is the 2nd year I have purchased these shallots...
This is the 2nd year I have purchased these shallots...they always sprout after a 3 to 4 week dormant period in the soil. This year 2018 they sprouted on day 23 which was 8 Feb. 2 days ago. Last year they produced approx. 20+ shallots per bulb planted. The flavor is fantastic, much much better than grocery store shallots. I used them in salads, tuna salad, and any thing calling for onions, the flavor is just awesome. Unfortunately, I ate them all by the end of summer and had none left to store. I hope I grow enough this year to make it next year.
You have to try these shallots...sooo good!!!

Sturdy Can Opener
Nice handy GI can opener, fits nicely on my key chain, great value and quality; lost my original GI Army issue 1970's P-38 and now I have an exact replacement. Yippee!
