Excellent introduction to smart phoning

New to smartphones and PDAs Wanted inexpensive introduction to enable me to practically access what I thought I wanted and what I really needed. Oldie, did not need a social phone only emergency and talk down to meeting friends, thus pay as you go & unlocked sufficient phone requirement. Wi-Fi surf at home or friends, free internet coffee shops sufficient (also able to investigate alleged coverage of BT and FON free Wi-Fi offerings) As an oldie I needed an aide memoir - easily downloaded lists from my desktop (lists of books already read - good authors etc)The Windows OP system was simple and familiar to use and had sufficient 'apps' for me to download and play with Reasonable size screen and physical keyboard to accommodate my clumsy fingers. The HTY TYTN met all my requirements in full but I have found that I don't need a physical keyboard as the stylus on screen input is much easier than I expected. I thus paid the price of a larger heavy phone to have its button keyboard that I don't need to use (although its always there for use) Very nearly a perfect hit first time for my particular needs Ticks all the right boxes, has lots of extra buttons & features; only a minor size/weight issue. Fully recommend as an introduction to smart mobiles.
