Great for gigging guitarists
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great tool to have in your kit. I’ve worked in rooms where my amplifier developed a loud hum due to dirty power, and this device solved it while maintaining a safe ground. It won’t solve every noise related problem you may experience, but it well worth the cost to have on hand. I permanently leave mine connected to the plug of my amp.

Helps a small amp make the gig
I love this because it allows me to use a compact tube amp within a band setting; I just run the Palmer to the house PA, and I can get a great, feedback-free sound. Guitar speaker cabinets are very directional; going through the PA gives me a much bigger sound, and avoids everyone turning up overly loud. While primarily for live use, I’ve also done some quick demo recordings with it, and I am very pleased with the quality for the efficient work flow. For cleaner tones, I’ve found that a mic on the speaker really isn’t that different, so this is a really useful device for me.
