Great concept / poor performance
1 of 1 found this helpful Idea is great to split the signal from 1 device to 2 monitors. Dtv receiver to hdmi splitter to 1 tv works. Plug in the 2nd hdmi to a 2nd tv and it shuts off the video and audio. I’ll throw it in a drawer but prolly won’t use it ever again.

Powered vs non powered
I have 1 Directv receiver and 2 TVs. 1 tv is 6ft away from the receiver and other 1 is 25ft away. Powered splitter is the way to go. Non powered splitter work cut out when the second tv was plugged in.
