Adaptec Wide SCSI AHA-2940W/2940UW Controller Card

Great for SCSI Drive Data Retrieval

I used the SCSI Controller Card to retrieve data off of some old SCSI drives from 1989. The card was installed in a computer running Windows 2000 and it was instantly recognized without the need to install any drivers. Luckily I still had the original SCSI cable and I was able to connect the drives to the 50-pin 8-bit Internal SCSI Connector on the card. I was able to retrieve the data on the drives (a whopping 4GB!) and then securely erase the drives using CCleaner. If you have some old SCSI drives laying around and a computer with some PCI slots running Windows 2000, then this is the solution for you!
