Like all HP calculators, a great product.
0 of 1 found this helpful Though a little dated, firmware was upgraded as soon as I connected it to my laptop. Not the version currently being sold, but meets my needs perfectly.

Bright and Staccato.
As my ears age, (73 and counting) my frequency response moves down. The bass heavy crop of modern entry level headphones sound more and more like a bullfrog with a mouth full of marbles.
Therefore it was a joy to find the large number of Sony MDR-NC6's offered for sale on Ebay. I could care less about noise cancelling, which is good because the NC on the NC6 can't compete with the current crop of inexpensive headphones in that respect.
It's just nice to use phones that allow me to hear a little of the upper spectrum that seems to be ignored by many others.
I was amazed at the sound of these when I bought my first one 10 year ago, am no less so now.
I found a bargain priced MDR-NC7 a few months ago and was sorely disappointed when comparing it to the NC6. Very bass heavy, over all "muddy" when compared to the NC6. Also the "folding" design of the NC7 makes it hard to put on.
I can't think of a better way to spend the 10 to 20 bucks these (NC6's) seem to be bringing these days.

As good as it gets.
Sound quality is amazing. Works great with Dragon 15 Pro.
