Excellent Scope at Extreme Value
2 of 2 found this helpful This optic is fantastic. I have it mounted on an 18" AR upper with a Larue SPR 30mm mount.
I took it into the mountains on a private camping and hunting range near WV. Looking down into a valley, after doing range estimations, I could see details on rocks and whitetail deer at around 1500 yards with good clarity.
If you're looking for a mid-distance optic, I highly recommend this one. The Horus style reticle will be very useful for gauging wind. The MOA style reticle has numbers that are visible at 4-10x. Since it's first focal plan (which is awesome), it gets a little small at 2.5, but that's not what that magnification is for.
Totally love it. I just wish it was illuminated and available in MRAD with the horus reticle.
