some big issues with this kit
Be advised that this power supply is supplied without a schematic or wiring diagram. The only markings are on the circuit board. Some of the components are extremely small, like the glass diodes, so the number cannot be read at all, and the markings on the board are for 3 different numbered diodes. The only way I could figure out some of the component placement was to blow up a picture of the factory completed unit.
All this said, I ordered 3 of these. One smoked when connected, and I can't get the other 2 working. I have a great deal of experience with kits and soldering. The only reason I didn't kill the rating was that it is as described, it is good quality. But none of mine worked. I'd gladly pay the extra money for a factory wired and tested one.
