Quality, and very cheap.

Previously bought a tactical torch. This one much better, with 2 batteries and a plug-in charger so removal is unnecessary. Keep one in the car to read a newspaper or a map. Super-bright at close range, so even weak spectacles work. Real quality in the build. Good for jobs on the car or emptying the bin. At £9 is incredible value for money. Headlight torches of 5 years ago are 5 times weaker. Angle of beam in the vertical plane is really easy to alter and then it sticks there. Unbelievable you get 3 LEDs and 2 batteries and a charger for £9.

Mordaunt short very much to my taste

s/h Tannoys, Monitor Audio and the upper end KEFs are too expensive. The i means an improved tweeter, and 916 rather than 906 are 6 inches higher with more bass. Very punchy and even organs sound good. Small sectional area, and unobtrusive either side of a computer desk. I also have 5.50s but they are 15 years older, before metal cones.

I bought this mainly in case of dog attack, after a Staffordshire Terrier approach m

I bought this mainly in case of dog attack, after a Staffordshire Terrier approached me when I was vulnerably seated on the grass. There have been some awful injuries from dogs recently. I understand the skull is very thick, but the vulnerable point is just above the spine on the back of the head. I also carry a 140dB rape alarm. If it hurts the dog's ears as much as mine, it will be effective.
