Buy Refurbished as at least you know it has been tested?
We always look for refurbished products, as only 1 in 10 brand new products now goes through quality control now.
So when it is refurbished you know it has been properly tested to get its warranty again.
We haven't had it long enough yet to really review it fairly. But so far so good great clear sparkling bright picture good sound quality and easy to operate so we are happy to recommend this model and cured screen design if you are looking to upgrade your old TV in the near future.

Good Quality Material pity all the sewing finishing off wasn't done to the same standard!
Having received and opened our cover to fit it, we found it was made out of a good quality material and contained a draw string all around the bottom so it could be pulled in to keep the cover in place. As we started to pull in the draw string we noticed all these cotton threads hanging down at all the corners where the sewing had finished off. But instead of cutting then off they had been left all over 7" long which looked unsightly and we had to cut off as if they had got caught up would have unraveled maybe. Apart from that the cover fitted leaving a small air gap from the size we were advised to buy of course how it performs in the weather months in the cold, wet and frosts will be the best test so I will have to return in the spring to report on that. Cheaper doesn't always mean poor quality product it appears.
I wasn't sure about these claims made in the description as it sounds to good to be true for that price. So I decided to order one and see it arrived from abroad in a nice sturdy cardboard box and in its own heavy duty resealable plastic bag. I hadn't tried it out until this Tuesday and have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of fitting could be adjusted easily and the sound pick quality without noise want very good as well. So this makes me thing it is the retail markup and our VAT that makes our local purchases more expensive and also cheap doesn't always mean a rip off!
I will be buying again when and if it either gets damaged or lost, as I think it will last ok otherwise
