Seafires: 5 Model Set of variants of navy Spitfire (1/72 model kits Sword 72129)

A great collection for the 1/72 scale aircraft modeler to fill in a collection of Fleet Air Arm and naval aircraft with this important airplane.

This kit includes five individual kits covering most of the development of the naval adaptation of the Spitfire, the Supermarine Seafire. The kits include the WWII Merlin powered Mks II and III and the later Griffon powered Mks XV (two versions) and XVII. The only missing steps are the Mk I and the final series Mk 45, 46 and 47. The kits are nicely detailed, reasonably accurate and offer a nice variety of markings for each model.

Caracal decals for plastic model kits.

Caracal decals offer an extensive number of options for your model. Sets generally provide enough decals for two models. Decals are sturdy but the carrier film becomes invisible when applied. Work very well with MicroScale Solveset. Instructions for decal placement are clear and complete. The instructions provide fairly complete background information on the specific subjects offered.

Title would be better if it described this as a Propeller Set, since it provides four propellers for a model of a four-engined airplane.

Provides a much more realistic looking set of propellers for a very old B-17F kit, Propellers are a very prominent feature of an airplane model. This kit, by providing an assembly jig, assures getting uniform and consistent spacing and pitch angle on each blade.
