Meh
It's what it is. It's cheap and you know that going in. It's fun to play around on and it is very light. Don't expect great sound. I would say it's better than the toy ones, but they're usually under a hundred. Just know what it is that you're buying.

All you need to stay in tune
I've had one of these for over ten years. It never quit working, I just left it somewhere and so I bought another. Use it on any instrument that you can attach it to, it'll work on everything.

not what you're used to from Sierra Hull
the production and the musicianship is very good. Interesting instrumentation, mainly mandolin and bass. It's something that every artist has to go through. She was 22 when she made this. It's a collection of retrospective songs that she wrote about her growing pains in the music industry. Now I love Sierra hull. I think except for Chris Thile she's the best, but I enjoyed her first two albums way better. If I had previewed this one more on utube I wouldn't have bought. If You like the more traditional blugrassy sound you might not enjoy this album. Hopefully she's gotten it out of her system otherwise she may not sell as many c.d.'s in the future.
