Not a plug and play unit.
I haven't given up yet, but this unit requires an expertise that I don't have to program it. I've passed it to a friend with more knowledge to see if he can get it to work.
This unit apparently does not stand alone, but must be used with other equipment.
I do not recommend this access point at all.

Old technology
Doesn't work with Windows 7 or 10. When trying to install the software, I get a message recommending Windows NT. I did not notice that this was only a 802.11a unit. I cannot complaint about these problems because they were clearly marked. Totally my fault.
Got to eat this one.

Excellent product for the price.
For the price, believe it's an excellent product; however, my wife and I have side by side computers and I purchased a 2nd one for her after testing. You cannot use them in close proximity, they interfere with each other. I've another computer in the back room. I can use the 2nd one there or just alternate use when we're computering side by side.
Highly recommend this product, just don't plan on using two adjacent ones at the same time.
