Well built and sturdy
I had a similar product for years but didnt like the interior compartment clip design. This style of interior clip design is much better because the single interior compartment clip is actually on the outside. It is a very useful style of clipboard when you have papers for daily use and other papers only for occasional use. My only issue with it is the large hole in the pen compartment. Pens wont stay in their compartment, but a simple remedy is to line the pen compartment with some real thin cardboard. Great product otherwise and was a good bit less expensive than the ones at the 'big box' office stores.

Better parts, Better results
Tried similar plastic item that was cheaper but I had to buy several just to get one that finally worked. This metal bodied connector was much better built and so I only needed the one to do the job. And I expect to never need to replace it again. Better quality is cheaper in the long run.
