An Almost Perfect Product

It's the real deal as far as aftermarket parts go. It is VERY close to original specifications. I've installed/repaired/replaced over a dozen window motors in my Lincoln Mark VIIs since 1992. MAKE SURE TO TAP/THREAD THE SCREW HOLES BEFORE INSTALLING THE MOTOR IN THE DOOR. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO THREAD THE SCREW HOLES IN PLACE. Before inserting the assembly in the door, thread the screws into the assembly body until the head just touches the body, then remove them. THEN insert the assembly in the door. Those previously tapped threads will now easily accept the screws. The previous motor lasted ten years of use in a daily driver. This should do ten plus.
