U.S. made and great product
I bought this as "used" as the prices being put out for new ones in stainless are extremely unreasonable, way way overpriced. Even so, the quality is there and stainless can be sanitized. One of the reasons stainless steel is popular. Sanitary and can be sanitized of any possible germs, bacteria, and so on.
Note that this is a Detecto which is made in the U.S.A.
ChiCom stainless rusts. Quality is number one so I buy U.S. made products.
The Detecto cans, regardless of the building materials, have holes inside at the bottom corners that allow for drainage so when you take one outside and wash it you can simply use the garden hose to rinse it out clean afterwards. This also has a nice effect when installing a trash bag as it allows for air to escape instead of fighting with air pockets trying to prevent you from getting the bag in.
One of the notable features of the Detecto design is the external "step on" lid lift mechanism. Other brands try to hide the mechanism for some reason and they also have a nasty habit of producing an inferior product that breaks. Nothing like stepping on the pedal of another brand and have it go clean to the floor and just stay there on the floor, never to work again. Not so with the Detecto. It's heavy duty and they mean it. Major plus. Excellent piano hinge design on the lid as well for long life.
One drawback and it can be a major one for problems. I've already mentioned this to Detecto. When removing a full bag of trash the sides want to hang up on every facet of the trash can. Thus causing the bags to get ripped while extracting unless you are extremely careful and patient. I am not.
Detecto needs to offer an insert pale to augment the can to prevent this from being an issue. I work around it as best as possible, but this is something Detecto really must do. Even if the insert pale is plastic, it's better than having this problem.
I now have two Detecto trash cans. This one, the stainless steel C100 is in the kitchen. The other is the P48, which is half the size and is white, is in the den.
You can't beat the quality of a Detecto. Go for it.

This shower head and the connection with the bracket to hang it up is absolutely terrific!
I've been stuck with California's dictatorial garbage of no more than a 1.8gal/min water flow for decades. Do you have any idea how wonderful it is to actually have a REAL shower again?!
Both the mounting bracket and pipe connector assembly is made of brass/metal. None of that plastic stuff. The shower head is real brass/metal. None of that plastic stuff. It looks beautiful and it works like a champ.
Now keep in mind it's brand new. I'm watching it like a hawk to make certain it holds up for the long haul. I've read numerous stories of failures and complaints and of them they seem very problematic. That's because I went there to look to see if there were problems. Of them I saw two that looked realistic. One was someone had dropped the head and it apparently broke at the weld according to the writeup. I'd hate to have dropping it be that fragile, especially when you're using this in wet and soapy conditions as a norm. The other was a nozzle had somehow come out of the shower head. That would definitely cause a problem as the remaining hole would let water flow through it that would reduce the pressure greatly. So far though I've experienced no problems and the shower head works great.
I now have my shower delivering 2.5gal/min.
For all you gullible types that somehow got brainwashed into believing this somehow wastes water, ask yourself where that water just magically disappeared to. Down the drain? Really?
I have my own well. I have my own septic tank. Every drop of water I use goes to my septic tank, out the leach lines, and eventually returns through God's own water filtration system right back to the very same aquafer it came from. That's good old fashion common sense. If you are tired of being lied to, have good water volume and pressure straight off your half inch water line into the shower, and want a real shower this is the shower head for you.
Bonus: My old shower head that had the hose connections give way and leak that prompted me to shop for this in the first place is still viable and it fits the supplied hose connections perfectly so in a pinch I still have it to fall back on.
There's just nothing but good to say about this shower kit. Enjoy! :o)

Excellent steak knives. Proper quality
These knives come super sharp so be careful if you use them on a melamine plate right away. I've had these before, but lost them in a terrible house fire last year along with everything else. They must be worthwhile if I'm going to seek them out to get a new set.
