Great part, didn't fit as promised

The vertical Briggs is running with the new ignition coil. It is nicely assembled with good attention to detail. Obviously only time will tell about the quality of the internal components. BUT the coil did not fit my application. I found that the mounting holes in the coil assembly were too far apart to match the mounting holes on the side of the engine. WHAT TO DO? I went ahead and reamed the holes in the coil assembly to match the holes in the engine. Reaming the holes in the laminated metal was challenging. (About a 4 mm discrepancy. In the end, I was successful. It produces a great spark. However I would not by this part again without knowing the exact dimensions.
